Small Business Assistance

The office of MCAEDC, while providing loan officer support for Entrust MCA Funders, works closely with the SBDC/SBA office at SEMDC in Colstrip. If you are someone looking for help to start a new business or consultation about an existing business in the Miles City area please stop at the MCAEDC office. We will assist you however we can and will put you in touch with the SBDC/SBA office in Colstrip.

Jointly funded by the Small Business Administration, the Montana Department of Commerce, the Southeastern Montana Development Corporation (SEMDC) and local support, the Small Business Merchant & Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at SEMDC in Colstrip provides the following technical assistance to the businesses and entrepreneurs in Treasure, Custer, Rosebud, Powder River, Prairie, Dawson, Fallon, Carter, and Wibaux Counties in southeastern Montana:

• Free, confidential, one-on-one counseling to start-up & existing businesses
• Assistance in business planning, projections, financials, marketing & research
• Education of lender expectations and assistance in obtaining appropriate financing.
• Comprehensive training in all areas of business management
